College Counseling Mission Statement:

The mission of College Counseling is "to facilitate and support the transition from high school to post-secondary education and/or the work force.” This includes academic advising, as well as guiding and supporting students and families through the college search and application process. We work with students as individuals to understand who they are beyond the classroom and to help them find a college that will provide a challenging, comfortable and safe environment. The College Counseling mission is consistent with and complementary to the mission of the Congregation of Saint Joseph - we value and respect the diversity and individualism of our students and understand that their lives will take them in many directions.

As your College Counseling office, we are here to guide, counsel, challenge, suggest and inform. Although the process ultimately belongs to each individual student, we are here to assist and advocate for them and to make sure that their choices are informed and appropriate.
