In 1890, the Sisters of the Congregation of St. Joseph had the vision to open an all-girl’s school to serve the young women of Cleveland, transforming them into compassionate leaders by providing a quality education deeply rooted in the Catholic tradition. Through their work in our community, the Sisters have set the example for our students throughout the years and have prepared them to be successful personally and professionally.

We honor the visionary leadership of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph by partnering with dedicated alumnae, parents and friends to secure the financial resources necessary for tuition assistance, operating and educational costs, and capital improvements.

Your financial support of Saint Joseph Academy ensures that SJA can continue to empower young women from all facets of Cleveland to transform their communities – and our world – through a life of compassionate leadership and service. The need for financial aid will continue to grow as we strive to serve the needs of our socio-economically diverse student body. Gifts to the Annual Fund help us provide tuition assistance, as well as supporting our students’ educational and spiritual growth through our daily operations costs. Capital Campaign Gifts help us update our facility and ensure SJA’s long-term vitality.
