We're not just an all-girls school, we're an all kinds of girls school! Shadowing provides an excellent opportunity for girls to spend a full school day at Saint Joseph Academy — attending our classes, touring the campus and meeting many of our teachers and students. If you are considering enrolling at SJA for high school, shadowing is a great way to answer many of the questions.

Our spring shadowing program is open to all students considering enrollment at Saint Joseph Academy.  This includes 7th grade girls who can get a "sneak peak” at what high school will be like.  If you are in 7th grade, sign-up today as there are select dates for the next three weeks that you are invited to shadow one of our freshman students.   Visits can generally be arranged on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday on the following dates through Thursday, May 9th:  

Monday, April 15  | Tuesday, April 16  |  Thursday, April 18

Monday, April 22  |  Tuesday, April 23  |  Thursday, April 25

Monday, April 29  |  Tuesday, April 30

Monday, May 6  |  Tuesday, May 7  |  Thursday, May 9

Please complete the "Jaguar for a Day" request form at the bottom of this page which will allow you to select the date you wish to visit.  These are the only dates that shadows are permitted this spring at Saint Joseph Academy. 

Please remember to check with your current school about their policy on high school visits. Then, submit a request form (below) to arrange your visit to SJA. When completing the request form, please provide as much information as you can so that we can match you with a student who shares your interests. Please keep in mind that only Academy Ambassadors may act as hosts. If you know a current student and she is an Academy Ambassador, we will make every attempt to place you with her for the day. Your shadowing request form must be received at least one week prior to your visit.

•     Dress code – your school uniform or skirt, dress slacks, blouse, sweater and school shoes.
•     Please do not wear jeans or tennis shoes.
•     Report to the Main Office at 7:45 a.m. Classes begin at 8 a.m.
•     A lunch pass will be provided or you may bring your own lunch.
•     Please bring reading material or schoolwork.
•     Dismissal is at 2:30 p.m. and parents should pick up students at our Academy Center/gymnasium entrance    (building facing Rocky River Drive).

We will contact you via e-mail to confirm your visit. Come prepared for a fun and informative day! We look forward to showing you our community and introducing you to many students, faculty and staff members. Please keep in mind that due to the number of students visiting and limited classroom size, we may have to place visiting students in groups.
