Tuition Assistance for Current Students

We are aware of the many sacrifices that families make to send their daughters to Saint Joseph Academy and take great care each year to grant assistance to families in need. Accordingly, more than 65% of our students receive scholarship awards or tuition assistance. Tuition for the 2012-2013 school year is $10,600.

We work with each family to ensure that applying for tuition assistance and scholarships is as simple and seamless as possible. We realize that this process can be daunting and overwhelming, so please feel welcome to contact us with your questions.

Scholarships
Many scholarships are available to students attending Saint Joseph Academy. Scholarship amounts and eligibility requirements vary by scholarship and grade level. Scholarship applications for the 2013-14 school year are due to the main office by December 3, 2012 and are listed below.

Tuition Assistance Grants
Tuition Assistance Grants are available to any eligible student attending Saint Joseph Academy. Application must be made each year. These grants range from $300 to $3,000. The Private School Aid Service (PSAS) Student Aid Form must be completed to be considered for tuition assistance grants. The PSAS form is due by November 21, 2012 and is submitted directly to PSAS.

Diocesan Tuition Assistance
Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA) Grants are awarded each year by the Diocese of Cleveland. Grants are awarded based on financial need as determined by the PSAS form. Awards are announced by the Diocese in May of each year.

Cleveland Scholarship Program

Saint Joseph Academy accepts the Cleveland Scholarship Program (CSP) voucher. The CSP is funded by the State of Ohio and is only available to Cleveland residents. The maximum scholarship amount for 2012-2013 is $5,000 and the family is responsible for paying all remaining tuition due. Students receiving the CSP voucher are eligible to apply for all other scholarship and tuition assistance grants. The application period for 2013-2014 school year will reopen on February 1, 2013.
