Saint Joseph Academy is a Catholic, all-girls high school in Cleveland, Ohio, that challenges and nurtures girls to become confident, articulate young women. Our school community is rooted in the spirituality of our founding sponsors, The Congregation of St. Joseph. Our belief that every person is made in the image of God allows us to recognize the potential that lies within each young woman who walks through our doors. Over the course of four years, we guide each student to develop her personal gifts and talents as a unique individual.
Saint Joseph Academy has a 120-year tradition of excellence in the education of women. We provide strong academics, an essential element for challenging young people to grow. Year after year, students at Saint Joseph Academy are accepted to top colleges and universities. Most recently, the Class of 2009 was awarded $11.6 million in merit based scholarships.
Our single-gender environment allows all of our studentsto be themselves and thrive. This is a place where young women value their minds and each other. They live their Catholic faith through service projects, retreats and liturgies throughout the year. We guide our students to focus on character, self-discipline, and teamwork – as they serve the "dear neighbor".
What makes the “Saint Joseph Academy Difference?” The Academy is centered on the spirituality of our founders, the Congregation of Saint Joseph. We promote academic excellence, foster love and unity with God, one another, and all creation and work to educate diverse young women for compassionate leadership and service in a global society.
Come explore the difference for yourself through this website or through a visit to our school. I would welcome the opportunity to meet you, as a prospective student, parent, alumnae, or friend of the Academy.
