Saint Joseph Academy is the only Catholic, all-girls high school in the city of Cleveland. It was founded in 1890 by the Sisters of the Congregation of St. Joseph and strives to foster unifying relationships with God and all creation. Saint Joseph Academy is committed to Catholic values and academic excellence in grades 9 through 12.   • Director of Admission

    Director of Admission 
    The Director of Admission is responsible for the development and execution of the Saint Joseph Academy admission process. This includes the planning, design and implementation of all programs and communications that relate to promoting the school to prospective students, their parents and to the greater community. This crucial role fosters relationships with key audiences to expand the inquiry pool and ensures the mission of the Academy is reflected in admission initiatives. The Director of Admission reports directly to the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing, with dotted line responsibility to the Principal.
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in high school or college admission with managerial responsibilities
    • Proven record of accomplishing enrollment goals
    • Experienced in team building and managing a budget
    • Comfortable public-speaking to large groups
    • Must be willing to work some early mornings, evenings and weekends
    • Commitment to the Catholic education of young women in the tradition of the Congregation of St. Joseph

  • Registrar

    The Registrar collects, records, maintains, and reports data for student academic records and schedules, and for teacher schedules; schedules substitute teachers for any teacher absences. This position is a non-exempt, 12 month, part-time role (30-hours/week).

    Primary Job Functions

    • Arrange for teacher substitutes as needed
    • Provide student rolls and other needed materials to substitute teachers
    • Maintain attendance records for academic faculty and staff
    • Collect, enter, and maintain student data in Power School database for enrollment and scheduling purposes
    • Collect and maintain all student grades
    • Prepare report cards
    • Prepare student schedules and make corrections/changes to schedules as needed
    • Prepare academic reports as needed and requested
    • Issue official transcripts
    • Prepares letters and mailings for Honor Roll, Academic Warning, Progress Reports for the Service Program, Wellness Program, and others as needed
    • Order, distribute and track the use of Scantron sheets
    • Verify graduation for alumni as needed
    • Record attendance data for students as needed
