On the first day of June, 164 young women of unifying love officially graduated from Saint Joseph Academy. Led by President Kathryn H. Purcell and Class speaker, Distinguished Alumna and former Board of Directors Chair and member Rebecca Dessoffy Bennett '91, the Class of 2021 wearing white caps and gowns and carrying their bouquet of red roses, processed from Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church down Rocky River Drive to Saint Joseph Academy. During their outdoor commencement ceremony, Rebecca Dessoffy Bennett '91 shared the strength of the relationships she formed with her classmates, seven things to remember in life, as well as the importance of continuing the mission of the Sisters to continue the fight for empathetic justice. As student commencement speaker and Phi Beta Kappa recipient, Jane Sessions ’21 shared, “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.”
We are so proud of our Class of 2021! Go forth into this world as the compassionate global leaders Saint Joseph Academy has empowered you to become. Your futures are bright and your opportunities endless!
