Welcome Class of 2024!

We are thrilled to welcome you as a member of Saint Joseph Academy's Class of 2024 and our community! During your time at the Academy, you will join a sisterhood that is inspired to make a difference, celebrate traditions, discover passions and grow in faith. 

Freshmen Picnic 
We are hoping it will be possible for us to host our annual family Freshmen picnic on Thursday, July 30 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. so you can meet your fellow classmates as well as current students! Look for an update as we get closer to that date.

Athletics Department Information
We are working with the OHSAA and state and local officials to determine our way forward with athletics next school year. Since our coaches are in a no-contact period with our returning athletes they are staying in touch with them and providing workouts via email, Zoom, etc.
Although fall sports typically start on August 1, we don't know if that will hold true for this year. We will keep everyone updated as we learn more.

Connect with Cross Country
Coach Kieser is looking forward to a large Freshmen class of runners for the cross country team, which is a no-cut sport, this coming summer/fall. For more information, please email Coach Kieser at and check out the team website at  

Get on the Green with Golf
Any incoming Freshmen interested in our golf program should contact Head Coach Ms. Bonnie Sherman at She is eager to share drills that can be completed at home or out at a course as golf is a good sport that enables you to keep a safe distance from others.

  • Summer Reading

    We hope you had an opportunity to read over the Learn to Love Reading Program Letter included in the information packet you received a couple of weeks ago.
    We also created a video to announce the booklist.

    All students will be required to read at least one book and be prepared to discuss it in August 2020. Students are to choose which book they plan on reading.

  • Flag Corps Tryouts & Summer Camps

    Tryouts for any new member are on June 15 and 18, from 6-8 p.m. in Breen Lobby at Saint Ignatius High School. All girls that are interested in auditioning need to reach out to directly to Mrs. Natalie Hamlin, Flag Corps Moderator at

    The Marching Auxiliaries Camp is July 13-15, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in Rade Dining Hall at Saint Ignatius. The cost for this camp is unchanged from prior years, $100. These three days are extremely important, as two full routines are learned. Please do everything possible to be present for the entirety of this camp. 
    If you need to order any uniform parts/pieces (tights, bloomers, bodysuits, boots, etc.), please let us know so we can plan accordingly.
