Art Selected for 26th Annual National K-12 Ceramic Exhibition

“Life is Gourd,” a ceramic piece created by Cameron Simone, '25, was recently selected for the 26th Annual National K-12 Ceramic Exhibition.
This juried competition showcases the best K-12 ceramic artwork in the United States. The National K-12 Ceramic Exhibition is held in conjunction with the international conference for The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA). Cameron's piece will be on display in Cincinnati during this year's conference in March. Professor Bobby Scroggins, professor of Ceramics and Sculpture at the School of Art and Visual Studies at The University of Kentucky was this year's juror. Cameron's piece was among the 152 that were selected out of more than 1,300 exhibition entries.
