  • Q: If I go to a public school, how do I apply for admission?

    Students from public and non-Catholic private schools are asked to contact the Director of Admission for an application and information, or download an Application for Admission. Students should forward their current school records to the Saint Joseph Academy Admission Office by using the records release form.This form should be completed and forwarded to the student's current school's principal's office. Following application, the student is reviewed using the same criteria as stated above. If acceptance of a particular student is in question, her elementary school may be contacted for a recommendation prior to the final decision.
  • Q: How much is tuition? Does it increase each year?

    Tuition for the 2016-17 school year is $13150, plus a $100 technology fee. While it has increased in years past, there is no set annual increase.
  • Q: How do I apply for financial aid?

    Saint Joseph Academy uses the Private School Aid Service (PSAS) form to assist in determining each student’s financial need. The form must be completed in its entirety, signed and mailed to PSAS along with the $31 fee by November 20, 2015. Please be assured that all financial information is strictly confidential. Scholarship applications are available on our website. Applications are due by December 1, 2015. Call 216.251.6788 with any questions.
  • Q: How do I apply for scholarships?

    Many scholarships are available for students attending Saint Joseph Academy. Scholarship amounts and eligibility requirements vary by scholarship and grade level. The Saint Joseph Academy Scholarship Application is due by the beginning of December. For more information, please call 216.251.6788.
  • Q: When is 7th grade shadowing?

    We offer 7th grade girls the opportunity to shadow during the spring of their 7th grade year on select dates. Please note the select dates that shadows are permitted at Saint Joseph Academy this spring due to special class schedules, school events, testing and early release days.   • Q: When is placement testing?

    We offer three testing dates - 2 in the fall and 1 in winter. Students may take the test on any of these three dates and may only take the test once. Please contact the Admission Office 216.251.4868.
  • Q: What placement test does your school use?

    Saint Joseph Academy uses the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Students are not permitted to use a calculator. All testing materials will be provided.
  • Q: When do we find out the results of placement testing?

    Students are mailed their results on average between 4-6 weeks after taking the placement test.
