We're not just an all-girls school, we're an all kinds of girls school.™

Emma Weiss '19 is one of two students who helped start the gymnastics program at Saint Joseph Academy.
"I have competed in club gymnastics for 10 years. My teammate, Sofie Buckley '19 and I met with Athletic Director Mr. John Manuszak to start a gymnastics team here. It has been challenging adjusting to the different atmosphere of high school meets, but we have supported each other, and it has been a lot of fun," shared Emma Weiss '19.
At the Rock and Roll Invitational held at Brecksville High School, Emma had her best high school meet thus far, placing fourth all around, highlighted by a second place finish on the floor, scoring an 8.85. "People always tell us how cool it is that we have a Varsity gymnastics team. Students are coming out to watch us now that they know more about it. Competing as a Jaguar is great, and we are really proud to be the first gymnasts to do that."
Emma is involved with Art Club, Health Sciences Honors Program, Science Olympiad and her youth group at St. Angela Merici Parish.
