The Academy Featured in Two Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine Articles

Our students have recently been featured in two different articles within Northeast Ohio Parent magazine.
Students collaborated with the organization Go Baby Go, a nonprofit research organization which provides children with special needs, ages birth to three years old, with an enjoyable, temporary wheelchair alternative. Motorized cars are modified to meet each individual child's needs.

Eight students presented Andrew, a three year old who has suffered a traumatic brain injury and stroke, with an adapted power wheels vehicle. "For him to be independent and move on his own with this car is such a gift," shared his mother, Tracy. Click here to read the article. Click here for more photos from the presentation.

Health Sciences Honors Program Coordinator Ms. Erin Hoffert was also recently featured in Northeast Ohio Parent magazine, discussing the link between STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) classes and the healthcare industry. Click here for the article.
