Mock Trial Qualifies for Fourth Consecutive Regional Competition

For the fourth year in a row, Saint Joseph Academy's Mock Trial team qualified for the Regional competition, which will be held on Friday, February 19!
Students participated in a virtual competition, where they argued original, unscripted, simulated trials written by attorneys and argued both sides of the case in real courtrooms across the state. A special thanks to "25 Under 35" honoree Brooke Hamilton '09 for her support as a coach on the Mock Trial team! Brooke is an Associate at the law firm Burns White.

"This is the fourth year Brooke has been helping us. She prepares the students on the team with the questions they ask witnesses during the trial, as well as their opening statements and closing arguments. Brooke does a great job with making courtroom proceedings accessible to our students. We wouldn't have advanced to Regional Competition for the past four years without her," stated Math teacher and moderator Mr. Chris Kenny.
