Congregation of St. Joseph Leadership Team’s Long-Awaited Visit

On April 15, the Leadership Team of the Congregation of St. Joseph visited Saint Joseph Academy to meet President Kathryn Purcell and tour Fitzmaurice Hall.
The five-person Leadership Team represents Sisters from several local communities who are elected to a five-year term of office, and who are responsible for oversight and governance of all aspects of the Congregation’s life and ministry.

The Leadership Team was excited to see how Fitzmaurice Hall, which served as the Motherhouse of the Cleveland Sisters of St. Joseph for more than a hundred years, has been given new life as classrooms and office space for Saint Joseph Academy (the Congregation generously gifted the building to the Academy in 2017). Although Sr. Kathy Brazda visited during the early stages of construction in August 2019, this was the first time the full team was able to see the completed renovations and meet President Purcell due to previous COVID-19 restrictions.

We are ever grateful for the generous support and sponsorship of the Congregation of St. Joseph!
