Founders’ Day/Sign Up for Maxim Monday

As Saint Joseph Academy celebrates the anniversary of the founding of the Congregation of St. Joseph on October 15, we invite you to sign up for a weekly “Maxim Monday.”
This email reflects on the Maxims of the Little Institute, which have been a part of the spirituality of the Congregation since the time of their founding. Because most of the first Sisters were illiterate, Fr. Jean-Pierre Medaille, S.J., composed these short sayings which could be committed to memory to guide them in living out the mission of unifying love and service to the dear neighbor without distinction. Today, you can see several graphic renderings of these maxims displayed on the ground floor in the Conrad Family Commons area of Fitzmaurice Hall (as seen in photo).

Using an updated translation of the Maxims, each Monday morning, Vice President of Mission Dr. Jessica Wrobleski will share a brief reflection on one of the maxims as encouragement, guidance and inspiration for the week ahead. You can sign up for Maxim Mondays using this form

If you already receive the Monday Maxim emails, you do not need to sign up again, but feel free to share this sign-up link with friends or family who would enjoy them, whether or not they have a direct affiliation with Saint Joseph Academy.
