Swish! SJA Basketball Welcomes Home Former Players for Alumnae Night

In the last two months, our beloved basketball alumnae were welcomed home not once but twice at the Academy!
At the beginning of December, alumnae gathered to watch the Jaguars take on St. Vincent St. Mary in a tough game at home. At the end of November, alumnae played in a game against our current players.

"Saint Joseph Academy is a truly special place; a place that allowed me to always be my true, authentic self. It shaped me into the woman I am today," Hailey Grant '15 shared. "Coming back for the alumnae game was really special after being gone for so long. SJA has and will always feel like home. I am grateful for the friendships I formed with both classmates and teammates. It was amazing to catch up and hear about what everyone is up to these days. I am so proud to have such great people to call friends, and I will forever be proud to be an SJA graduate. Sursum corda!"

Rachael Kean '16 shared, "It was so great to come back and see familiar faces--most of which that I have not seen since graduation! I was so impressed by all the changes made on campus too. I am so happy girls are receiving the same kind of experience I did; it was both exciting and heartwarming to be back on the court."

Experiences like this prove just how lucky we are to have such an incredible network of women willing to dedicate their time to us and our students. It is always an immense pleasure to welcome alumnae back home.
