Pay Tribute while Transforming the Future
Saint Joseph Academy provides two ways for donors to provide deserving young women with the gift of an Saint Joseph Academy education – Named Endowed Scholarships and the Saint Joseph Academy Scholarship Fund. All scholarship gifts are invested in the Saint Joseph Academy Scholarship Endowment Fund. Donations may be added to the principal of the scholarship at any time thereby increasing the amount of the awards that can be provided. There are also opportunities for Named Endowed Scholarship donors to meet their scholars through annual events.

More than 67% of SJA students receive financial assistance amounting to more than $1,662,000. The need for financial aid will continue to grow as we continue to serve the needs of our socio-economically diverse student body. Scholarship funds are endowments that provide an ongoing source of support, and enable you to experience the impact of your philanthropy.

Named Endowed Scholarships
Named Endowment Scholarships are the perfect gift and a unique and lasting way to honor a loved one, celebrate a birthday or holiday, commemorate a special occasion, or celebrate your commitment to the transformational power of a Saint Joseph Academy education. More than 90 named scholarships have been established at Saint Joseph Academy to pay tribute to parents, daughters, sisters, teachers and other loved ones or to commemorate an anniversary or milestone. You can join this committed group of supporters by establishing an endowed scholarship today!
  • The fund will be held and managed with the pooled assets of Saint Joseph Academy’s endowment fund.
  • The principal of the fund must reach a minimum of $15,000 before earnings are distributed.
  • Can be funded with a single gift or the designated gifts of your family and friends over a period of five years.
  • Once established, the named donor(s) will be invited to special events to meet the students who are benefiting from their generosity.
  • The fund will be listed annually in the Donor Report, along with additional annual contributors.
  • Future contributions can be designated to the fund, allowing the principal balance to grow
  • Endowment Funds are the gifts that keep giving forever! They are truly a legacy that you, your family and friends, will establish at Saint Joseph Academy for current and future generations to come.

Saint Joseph Academy Endowed Scholarship Fund
Saint Joseph Academy has also established a general endowed scholarship fund that provides a large group of young women in the Cleveland area the opportunity to have an excellent Catholic high school education rooted in the CSJ tradition. Gifts can be designated to the Endowed Scholarship Fund to help expand our efforts to share the Saint Joseph Academy experience with families who share your values and want to provide their child with a quality, faith-filled education.
