Alumnae Support Students in Potential Career Interests

Health Sciences Honors Program participant Grace Nussle ’22 (sister of Hannah Nussle '19) is interested in a career in optometry. Over the summer, she had the opportunity to shadow “25 Under 35” honoree and optometrist Dr. Katherine Bej '09. Grace spent two days observing a day in the life of an optometrist at MetroHealth’s main campus and Old Brooklyn Medical Center. The duo saw patients as young as four years old through 80+!
