An Evening Honoring Mary Ann Corrigan-Davis '71

This year’s “Celebrate the Academy” gala on Saturday, February 22, 2020 recognized the achievements of our very own Mary Ann Corrigan-Davis ’71. As the first President of Saint Joseph Academy, Mary Ann has transformed Saint Joseph Academy into a more inclusive and impactful educational institution. Her endeavors are embedded in acclaimed initiatives, dynamic curriculum and a deepening of the charism of the Congregation of St. Joseph. We are truly grateful for her ability to “hit one out of the park” during her 14 years serving as President!
As the only all-girls Catholic high school in the city of Cleveland, Saint Joseph Academy currently serves 700 young women, providing $2.2 million in tuition assistance and merit awards for the 2019-2020 school year. The Academy provides an opportunity where students step up to the plate to challenge themselves with rigorous curriculum and endless opportunities, including the Health Sciences Honors Program, Engineering & Design Honors Program and a Makerspace innovation lab.

Our annual “Celebrate the Academy” gala represents a tremendous opportunity to hit a home run and showcase your support of Catholic education to a broad and engaged community while helping us honor Mary Ann’s legacy. In 2020, the gala had more than 600 guests and volunteers in attendance, netting more than $377,791 for the 73% of our students who rely on tuition assistance in order to attend Saint Joseph Academy.

We invite you to save the date for this grandslam celebration on Saturday, February 20, 2021.
