This year’s “Celebrate the Academy” celebrates the Grit, Grace & Gratitude of the young women of Saint Joseph Academy.

During the past year, we have all experienced hardship in some form. Rising to the occasion to be the compassionate leaders they were called to be, the young women of Saint Joseph Academy have shown courage and the strength of their character. Their passion and perseverance, give them the motivation to set goals and achieve these goals. In the face of adversity, students have shown they have the endurance to stand up for what they believe in. The young women of Saint Joseph Academy possess grit, grace and gratitude.

As the only all-girls Catholic high school in the city of Cleveland, Saint Joseph Academy currently serves nearly 700 young women, providing $2.3 million in tuition assistance and merit awards for the 2020-21 school year. The Academy provides an opportunity where students challenge themselves with rigorous curriculum and endless opportunities including the Health Sciences Honors Program, Engineering & Design Honors Program, Global Program and a Makerspace innovation lab. At Saint Joseph Academy, young women don’t just have any opportunity - they have every opportunity to become a compassionate leader in a global society.

Our annual “Celebrate the Academy” gala represents a tremendous opportunity to showcase your support of a quality Catholic education to a broad and engaged community while helping us honor and support the young women entrusted in our care. Last year, the more than 600 guests and volunteers who attended “Celebrate the Academy” helped us net more than $325,000 for the 73% of our students who rely on tuition assistance to attend Saint Joseph Academy.

Due to the pandemic, the 2021 gala will be held virtually on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Guests are encouraged to show support by becoming a sponsor and inviting guests to sit at their virtual table.
