Celebrate the Academy

This year’s gala, themed Trip Through the Tropics, celebrates our award-winning school. At the Academy, the only all-girls Catholic high school in the City of Cleveland, it is our mission to bring a quality Catholic education to the 673 students entrusted in our care so they may change the world as compassionate leaders in a global society. The Academy empowers students to challenge themselves with a rigorous curriculum and explore endless opportunities to find their passions, including the Health Sciences Honors Program, Engineering & Design Honors Program, Global Scholars Program, the Howley Makerspace innovation lab and more! In the 2022-2023 school year, the Academy provided these young women with more than $2.8 million in tuition assistance.

Our annual “Celebrate the Academy” gala represents an opportunity to showcase your support of Catholic education to a broad and engaged community. In 2023, through the generous support of our underwriters and sponsors, virtual attendees and volunteers, we raised more than $275,000 in net revenue for the 77% of our students who rely on tuition assistance in order to attend Saint Joseph Academy.
