• What is our goal?

  We are setting an ambitious goal for the 2025-2026 academic year (fiscal year is July 1 through June 30) to raise more than $500,000. More importantly, we are hoping for high donor participation. Gifts like yours can inspire other donors, and broad-based annual participation plays a large role in encouraging significant support from corporate and foundation donors. A gift of any size to the Annual Fund is a vote of confidence in Saint Joseph Academy.

• Why not just raise tuition rather than solicit gifts?

  As a school in the City of Cleveland, Saint Joseph Academy is proud of its wide socioeconomic diversity and the valuable experiences this provides all of our students. Although raising tuition would generate a certain level of revenue, it would increase each student’s tuition by $2,468.

• Who is being asked to participate in Annual Giving?

  All members of the community who have benefitted from and support Saint Joseph Academy’s mission are being asked to make a donation. Our alumnae, faculty, staff, parents/guardians, the Board of Directors and friends have generously supported us in the past with Annual Fund gifts. We rely on their continued support every year.

• What are employer matching gifts?

  Many corporations will match their employees’ gifts to the school of their choice. Some companies may double or even triple the amount of your gift!
