The Annual Fund is the most direct way to support Saint Joseph Academy’s current students and faculty. Contributions to this annual fundraising initiative ensures our students have a supportive, faith-filled learning environment, tuition assistance, campus ministry activities and vibrant extra-curricular activities.

During these challenging times, many of our families have been financially struggling more than ever before. This academic year, 75% of our families are receiving tuition assistance. Mindful of the world's current challenges, we still must move forward and ask that you prayerfully consider a gift to the Academy’s Annual Fund.

  • What is our goal?

    We are setting an ambitious goal for the 2021-2022 academic year (fiscal year is July 1 through June 30) to raise more than $600,000. More importantly, we are hoping for high donor participation. Gifts like yours can inspire other donors, and broad-based annual participation plays a large role in encouraging significant support from corporate and foundation donors. A gift of any size to the Annual Fund is a vote of confidence in Saint Joseph Academy.
  • Why not just raise tuition rather than solicit gifts?

    As a school in the city of Cleveland, Saint Joseph Academy is proud of its wide socioeconomic diversity and the valuable experiences this provides all of our students. Although raising tuition would generate a certain level of revenue, it would increase each student’s tuition by $1,545.
  • Who is being asked to participate in Annual Giving?

    All members of the community who have benefitted from and support Saint Joseph Academy’s mission are being asked to make a donation. Our alumnae, faculty, staff, parents/guardians, the Board of Directors and friends have generously supported us in the past with Annual Fund gifts. We rely on their continued support every year.
  • What are employer matching gifts?

    Many corporations will match their employees’ gifts to the school of their choice. Some companies may double or even triple the amount of your gift!

    It's easy to do:

    Check out the Human Resources website for your company – they often have the forms right there or
    • Send the matching gift form along with your payment gift to Saint Joseph Academy.
    • We’ll process the matching gift form and contact you when the gift is received!

All donors to the Annual Fund will be recognized in our annual Honor Roll of Donors.
 
Bradley Society: Gifts of $150,00 and above
Fitzmaurice Society: Gifts of $50,000-$149,999
Saint Joseph Society: Gifts of $25,000-$49,999
Le Puy Society: Gifts $15,000-$24,999
Medaille Society: Gifts $10,000-$14,999
President’s Society: Gifts $5,000-$9,999
Holy Family Society: Gifts $2,500-$4,999
1890 Society: Gifts $1,000-$2,499
Academy Society: Gifts $500-$999

Are you getting calls from 216.251.6788? Don’t let it go to voicemail -- it’s a current Saint Joseph Academy student calling to speak with you about our Annual Fund!

While speaking with a current student, you can choose to make an immediate gift with your credit card, a delayed gift or a pledge (to pay at a later date). If you make a pledge, you will recieve periodic reminders throughout the school year to make your gift by our fiscal year end (June 30) so that the funds may be put to immediate use for our students.
