Distinguished Programs
Beyond everyday curriculum, Saint Joseph Academy students have the opportunity to participate in unique programs designed to prepare them for a life of compassionate leadership and service in potential careers. The Academy's four Distinguished Programs - the Health Sciences Honors Program, the Engineering & Design Honors Program, the Global Scholars Program, and the Academy Humanities Scholars Program - allow students to engage in rigorous courses of study and hands-on learning that begins in the classroom and extends into real life. Each program features experiential and service learning opportunities, as well as a capstone project that showcases students' achievements throughout their time in the program.
Health Sciences Honors Program

Global Scholars Program
Students who participate in the Saint Joseph Academy Scholars Program will be prepared to thrive as inventive collaborators and agents of change for our global community. Participants will develop cross-cultural knowledge and communications skills and excel at thinking critically about global change. This is accomplished through the attainment of a deep understanding of the interconnected and interdependent nature of the world and the importance of collaborating interculturally. Rigorous study begins in the classroom but extends into real-life experience through meaningful experiential and service-learning, as well as cultural immersion experiences. Students in this program will gain real-world experiences that build on global values explored in and outside the classroom. This engaging way of study helps students determine globally-minded career interests to pursue in college.
Academy Humanities Scholars Program
Through the boundless exploration of what makes us human, the Academy Humanities Scholars Program will prepare students for a life of compassionate leadership and service through studies in literature, history, and the arts. Students will learn to preserve the past, appreciate the present, and imagine the future of humanity. Equipped with this knowledge, Humanities Scholars will be empowered to make intellectual, moral, and spiritual decisions that are grounded in unifying love.
