  • Digital Media Manager

    Job Title: Digital Media Manager
    Job Type: Exempt
    Reports To: Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing

    The Digital Media Manager serves as a member of the Marketing team. This full-time position is responsible for the ongoing management of Saint Joseph Academy’s digital media vehicles including, but not limited to, website, social media and email marketing to ensure alignment to the Academy’s mission, department objectives and brand guidelines. This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of digital media campaigns. The Digital Media Manager will also monitor, analyze and prepare reports that provide insight into the performance of Saint Joseph Academy’s digital media efforts.
    Essential Skills
    • Advanced skill level in responsive web design and proficient in Content Management Systems (CMS)
    • Proficient in social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn and management software such as Hootsuite
    • Excellent writing and creative skills for generating relevant and timely content 
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills in measuring, monitoring, analyzing and reporting metric performance of website initiatives through Google Analytics, social media platforms and e-marketing efforts
    • Expertise in driving audience engagement within web, social media platforms and email marketing campaigns
    • In-depth knowledge of various SEO platforms and reporting software to generate search engine ranking reports and web traffic to help track SEO strategy success   
    • Strong attention to detail with a high level of organization, enthusiasm and commitment to a collaborative approach
      • Ability to perform under pressure, manage timelines and adhere to deadlines
      • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects to meet deadlines that require strong proofreading and editing skills
    • Inquisitive learner with confidence to seek out advice as necessary and use good judgment to propose or implement creative solutions

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities
    • Maintain Saint Joseph Academy’s web presence to ensure content is accurate, current, relevant and aligned with the Saint Joseph Academy mission and search engine marketing strategies
    • Oversee all social media accounts to ensure alignment with the Saint Joseph Academy’s guidelines
    • Create engaging content (with web-ready images and/or videos) across all digital platforms including, but not limited to, webpages and social media platforms 
    • Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics
    • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
    • Maintain a high-level understanding of latest digital trends to effectively reach targeted audiences 
    • Lead the development and execution of digital and social media ads, track, monitor and analyze the effectiveness of digital performance across all platforms to identify high traffic areas, and areas of improvement
    • Create HTML emails using email marketing software and manage email mailing group lists
    • Work collaboratively with Advancement, Admission, Athletics, Academic and Mission departments
    • Maintain the master content calendar for all web properties to address all departments’ needs
    • Create, maintain and distribute content calendars for social media outreach efforts, as well as email marketing campaigns 
    • Provide monthly reports and insights regarding key performance metrics through Google Analytics and social media platform metrics
    Requirements:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Digital Communications & Multimedia, Digital Media, Web Development or a related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience 
    • Intermediate skill level in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and Google sites, mail and docs
    • Proficient in HTML software and reporting
    • Exemplary project management skills
    • Experience in the management of digital ad development
    • Basic photography skills; video creation skills preferred
    • Experience with Blackbaud platform a plus
    • Flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends

  • Freelance: Content Management Web Design Specialist

    This temporary, freelance position is responsible for the ongoing content management and reporting of the Saint Joseph Academy website performance and social media platforms. The position is approximately a three-month project working approximately 30 hours/week onsite during normal business hours.

  • Part-Time Bus Driver

    This part time Bus Driver position requires skilled work in the operation of light and heavy school buses and vans in transporting students to and from school events such as sporting events and field trips. Position includes weekend and evening work.

    Essential Skills
    • Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations and of the precautions necessary to avoid accidents.
    • Ability to operate a bus in a safe and economical manner.
    • Ability to understand and carry out instructions and to perform work requiring good physical condition.
    • Ability to relate to students, parents, faculty and coaches.
    • Ability to complete various forms and records, including updated route sheets, time sheets, field trip forms, incident and accident reports, etc.
    Primary Duties and Responsibilities
    • Transports students to and from school events, following a preplanned route according to a definite time schedule.
    • Regulates heating equipment and ventilation of bus for comfort of passengers. Drives bus carefully and in compliance with traffic regulations.
    • Assumes responsibility for the safety of students in loading, unloading and transporting them to and from school events.
    • Instructs students in safety precautions and practices.
    • Signals students when to cross street or highway and assures that students are safely across upon departure from bus.
    • Maintains discipline; reports unruly behavior to Principal of school or Dean of Women.
    • Inspects and sweeps bus.
    • Checks water, gas, oil and mechanical condition before leaving on run.
    • Reports delays and accidents. Keeps operational records and makes simple reports.
    • Reports defects or problems with vehicle to transportation maintenance supervisor. Assures bus meets regular maintenance schedules.
    Requirements: 
    • Appropriate State of Ohio Commercial Driver license for school bus and passenger operation.
    • Graduation from high school or completion of GED.
    • Completion of first aid and driving courses.
    • Training on highway safety rules and regulations.
    • Completion of a performance test in school bus operation.
    • Must pass a physical examination and drug test prior to hire and annually. Good vision in both eyes; cannot be a diabetic on insulin.
    • Must pass criminal background checks and have a good driving record with no DUI convictions

  • Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach

    Saint Joseph Academy is conducting a search for the head of its girls’ basketball program. The ideal candidate is:
