Preview Night: Tuesday, September 16 from 6-8 p.m.

Experience life as a Jaguar! Girls in grades 7 & 8 and their families are invited to join us for High School Preview Night and explore what makes Saint Joseph Academy unique. Walk through a mini version of our college block schedule, attend sessions based on your interests, and get a feel for our all-girls learning environment.

During activity blocks, all guests will come together for a student and parent/guardian panel to hear directly about student life at SJA and what it’s really like to be part of our community.

8th Grade Shadowing: September-December | Various Dates

Shadowing provides an excellent opportunity for girls to spend a full school day at Saint Joseph Academy - attending our classes, touring our beautiful campus and meeting many of our amazing teachers and students. Visiting students should plan to be on campus from 7:45 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on a shadow day and must provide their own transportation. Girls shadowing will enjoy a complimentary lunch while dining with their host.

To schedule your daughter's shadow day, please log into your parent/guardian MySJA account. If you do not have a MySJA account, please complete our Inquiry Form and our admission team will send you an invitation to create your MySJA account.

Fall Open House: October 5 from 1-4 p.m.

Join us on October 5 for a personalized tour of our beautiful campus! See a demonstration of our Anatomage Table, explore the Howley Makerspace innovation lab and visit classrooms and spaces in Fitzmaurice Hall. Learn about our academic offerings and programs, and meet our amazing teachers, coaches and students.

High School Placement Test: Various Dates

All 8th grade girls considering Saint Joseph Academy (SJA) are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) as part of the high school admission process. When selecting course selections, Saint Joseph Academy counselors use the HSPT and state testing scores to place incoming students in the right courses to fit their skill level. Testers with high scores may qualify for renewable merit scholarships.

Registration through the parent/guardian MySJA account is required to take the HSPT at Saint Joseph Academy.

*Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
*Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 4-7 p.m.

*Eligible for Admission and Scholarship Consideration

Extra time accommodations will be given at 1.5 of the scheduled testing time and will take place on October 11 and October 18 only. More details can be found on the registration form in your MySJA account.

HSPT Test Prep with Seeley Test Pros: Saturday, September 27 from 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

Saint Joseph Academy partners with Seeley Test Pros to offer classes to prepare 7th and 8th grade girls for taking the High School Placement Test (HSPT). This test is required as part of the Saint Joseph Academy admission process. Registration now available online at seeleytestpros.com.

Youth Basketball Night

Future Jaguars in grades 3-8 are invited to come cheer on the Jaguars as they take on the Walsh Jesuit Warriors on Wednesday, December 3 at the Academy Center. Varsity game starts at 6:30 p.m. There will be pre-game activities and each registered student will receive a free slice of pizza. Pre-game activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. and go until halftime. Bring your school spirit, cheer loud, and be part of the excitement. Let’s fill the stands and show the Warriors what Jaguar pride is all about!
