Through cherished traditions at Saint Joseph Academy, students build a greater sense of community with their classmates, teachers and alumnae.

  • Rose Ceremony

    The Academy community celebrates the Freshman class and transfers by presenting each one with a yellow rose and warmly welcoming honor guard style.
  • Pride Bowl

    An annual spirited flag football tournament between students and faculty followed by a bonfire and cookout.
  • Upperclass Induction

    Family, friends, faculty and staff gather to celebrate the Junior class as they rise into the higher ranking of upperclasswomen and receive a red rose.
  • Paws for Pride

    A high-energy day celebrating Saint Joseph Academy’s school spirit, complete with exciting competitions, skits and games between the different grade levels.
  • College Acceptances Wall

    Seniors gather at the College Acceptances Wall and ceremonially place a Jaguar paw print sticker on the college of their choice.
  • "Walk of the Roses"

    Following in the footsteps of our 18,762 alumnae, the graduating Seniors walk down Rocky River Drive dressed in all white, carrying a bouquet of a dozen red roses to their commencement ceremony.
