Accomplishments: Anastasia has been named a Commended Scholar through the 2024 National Merit® Scholarship Program.
“Being named a Commended Scholar is a huge honor! It goes to show that all of the work I have put in over the past three years has paid off, resulting in this honor that thousands of people all across the country hope to earn,” Anastasia shared.
About 34,000 Commended students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Scholars place among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2024 competition by taking the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).
Anastasia has earned academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect her with universities across the country, helping her stand out during the admissions process and allowing her to apply for additional college scholarships.

Activities and Interests: At Saint Joseph Academy, Anastasia is a Writing Center tutor, a member of Crew and the Entrepreneurship Club and is a leader of Mock Trial team.
Future Career Plans: Anastasia plans to major in Political Science with the goal of applying to law school.
