HSHP Students Experience Hands-On Learning at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium

Last week, 18 members of the Academy’s Health Sciences Honors Program (HSHP) traveled to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium to learn about marine biology. Students had the opportunity to tour the facility, learn about aquatic species and ecosystems and dissect a squid.
Elizabeth Glagola '27 shared the following reflection of the field trip, "As a member of the HSHP and with a love for the water, I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy the Greater Cleveland Aquarium. My favorite part about this field trip was the shark tunnel, as I experienced the marine animals living in harmony. The HSHP program gives SJA students many opportunities like this one to learn about health sciences and the various fields within biology."
