Last Friday, excitement filled the air as the community gathered for Paws for Pride, a beloved tradition. Students have been working tirelessly for the past several weeks crafting hallway decorations; learning and practicing class songs, dances and skits, all in hopes of having the most spirit points to earn the Paws for Pride trophy.
The day began with honoring Seniors participating in spring sports, the spring play and the Dance team. After, the friendly competition began with games including an obstacle course, plate turnover, musical chairs, snow tubes, pogo stick competition and dodgeball. Both Winter Guard and the Dance Team performed before the classes gathered for one last cheer practice. The tradition closed out with class skits, dances and songs.
This year, the Paws for Pride winner is the Class of 2026 with 199 points! Congratulations to all students and thank you for this unforgettable Jaguar spirit day!
