Welcome, Class of 2030 and Transfer Students!
On Wednesday afternoon after the blessing of the new addition, students, faculty and staff gathered for the opening Mass of the 2026-2027 school year.
“What do I want to be this year…How am I being called to grow and what is God asking of me,” Fr. Rich Samide, Pastor of Saint Angela Merici Parish, shared during his homily. As Fr. Samide concluded Mass, he blessed the yellow roses that would be given during the Yellow Rose Ceremony.
Following Mass, the Class of 2030 and transfer students experienced their first tradition at the Academy, the Yellow Rose Ceremony. During the ceremony, members of the Class of 2030 and transfer students received one yellow rose symbolizing their entrance into the community. The entire community cheered for our new students and warming welcomed them to SJA.
