Students Celebrate Moon Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is celebrated on the 15th day of autumn according to the lunar calendar each year. Every year at Saint Joseph Academy, students enrolled in Mandarin Chinese classes and members of the Asian Culture Club commemorate the Moon Festival by making mooncakes in the Dining Hall. These mooncakes symbolize unity and completeness.
Thank you to the Asian Culture Club leadership team (Adley Mack ’26, Angela Bun ’28, Christiana Nguyen ’26, Emma Kovach ’26, Jasmine Chen ’26 and Pia DeFabio ’26) and Chinese Teacher Ms. Min Peng for providing this opportunity!
