Accomplishments: Annabelle was one of 34 Seniors who were commissioned as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
“I wanted to become an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion because it is an amazing way to share my faith with the people around me,” Annabelle shared. “The girls at school get to see someone their age be a part of this special moment during Mass and I hope that it inspires even one person to deepen their faith. It’s a wonderful opportunity for me to grow closer with Jesus in a way that I never could before.”

The Commissioning Mass was extra special for Annabelle as Father Daniel Schlegel of Saint Raphael Catholic Church, her home parish, celebrated the Mass. “It was so full circle being surrounded by all of my friends and family at SJA but still having that little piece of my parish with me too,” Annabelle shared. “I was nervous in the beginning, but the Lord works through all of us in special ways. I felt so happy afterwards knowing that I was able to bring communion to my classmates and teachers.”
