College Board Scholarship
The College Board is investing $25 million in a new scholarship program, with awards ranging from $500 to $40,000 for student in the Class of 2020.

Ursuline College: Merit-Based Scholarships
Did you know that Ursuline College has new merit scholarships available to all admitted first-year students?

We are excited to share that Ursuline College will be awarding merit scholarships to all admitted students for Fall 2019!

These scholarships range from $13,000 to $21,500 and will automatically renew as long as the student remains in good academic standing. Click here to see how much you qualify for. 

In order to qualify, your student simply needs to complete their application to Ursuline! There is no application fee, and students can apply online at or through the Common Application. 

Drexel University
Drexel University is proud to offer applicants a variety of merit and special interest scholarships.
Merit scholarships are granted to incoming students based on superior academic performance. Students are automatically considered for their awards once they complete their admissions application.

There are many other scholarships Drexel awards for an applicant's participation in special programs. Central Michigan University Lem Tucker Scholarship
Help your students earn a full ride to CMU with the Lem Tucker Scholarship
Students who dream of a career in the media and communication fields can make that dream a reality with a full-ride scholarship to Central Michigan University that could be worth more than $90,000!
Students qualifying for consideration for the Lem Tucker Scholarship have a:
  • 3.0 high school GPA, or 3.3 GPA for transfer students
  • 940 SAT (18 ACT)
  • Major in a media-related field such as journalism, broadcasting, or public relations
CMU houses one of the most comprehensive media programs in the country. Whether it's television, radio, print, or public relations, your students will have the opportunities to get involved on a national scale with award-winning hands-on experiences.

Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants are pleased to be able to continue with our scholarship program for the 12th year.

Distinguished Women of Ohio Scholarship
We would like to invite you to share this excellent scholarship opportunity with the women of your rising senior class of 2020. Ohio's Distinguished Young Women program invites academically top ranked young women who are involved in leadership in and out of school, who have excelled at honing an individual talent, and who represent the best our state has to offer. Last year we awarded more than $20,000 in scholarships to 18 local young women. We would love to have many more participants this year, our 62nd year as part of this national scholarship program. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is a private, international organization with over 300,000 members worldwide.

As part of our commitment to higher education, Lambda Phi Omega Chapter annually awards scholarships to deserving Cuyahoga County high school seniors. We are now accepting applications for our 2019 scholarships. In order to qualify for a scholarship, the student must meet the following criteria:
  1. Reside in and attend a high school located in Cuyahoga County.
  2. Be a high school senior who will graduate by August 15, 2019.
  3. Have a minimum 2.5 Cumulative Grade PointAverage.
  4. Be accepted and enrolled in a College, University or Post-Secondary Institution by August 31, 2019.

Silver and Gold Scholarship 
There is a link below for this year’s Silver & Gold sponsored scholarship(s). The Silver & Gold is a long standing organization, primarily made up of area businessmen and women who work to assist safety forces’ personnel with social activities, awards banquets/presentations, and college scholarships.

Our scholarship program is not new. So far, we have awarded scholarships to more 200 students. This year we hope to assist, albeit in a humble amount, at least 6 more Cuyahoga County area students with awards of $500 to no more than $1,000 each. In addition, if funds allow (and they have for the past nine years), we will add several Honorable Mention Awards between $100 to $300.

Deadline to apply is July 8, 2019. Note the basic requirements of being a child of a person employed as a policeman, fireman, or EMT, and a student who will be attending their first year of college in the Fall Term of 2018.
