CORE Ministry Collaborates with Environmental Science Class for 'Season of Creation'

This week, students in CORE Ministry teachers Mr. Dan Guion and Dr. Alex Lopez’s Theology classes created signs to advocate for care for the environment.
The Season of Creation is an annual celebration and remembrance of the ideas presented by the Vatican in the encyclical called Laudato Si'. The season begins in September and ends on October 4th, the feastday of St. Francis. During this time, the Pope encourages all people to be more mindful of their ecological footprint.
To celebrate the end of the Season of Creation, students in Theology 12 and Environmental Science classes will share insights on plant and animal life. They will also host a prayer service honoring this special day.
