Upperclass Induction/Junior Ring Ceremony Tradition Continues with the Class of 2027

Last Thursday, members of the Class of 2027 celebrated the beloved tradition of formally becoming upperclasswomen in the Saint Joseph Academy community.
President Mrs. Kathryn Purcell began the ceremony by sharing an opening welcome to students and parents/guardians of the Class of 2027. As part of the tradition, the class selects a faculty member to speak and this year’s speaker was Social Studies Teacher Mr. Michael Shannon.

Class moderators CORE Ministry Member Mr. Joseph Basalla and Instrumental Music Teacher and Performing Arts Department Chair Mr. Brian Patton read the names of each Junior who approached President Mrs. Kathryn Purcell for her ring box and Principal Mr. Jeff Sutliff for a single red rose.
