Ms. Emmy Levine

Department: English Department. Ms. Levine teaches AP® English Language and Composition and Women Leading in the 21st Century. She is also the moderator of the Middle Eastern Culture Club. 
How long have you been teaching at the Academy?: This school year is Ms. Levine’s 16th year at the Academy. 
 
Why did you want to become a teacher?: “I became an English teacher because I am fascinated by people and their stories,” Ms. Levine shared. 
 
What do you enjoy most about the Academy?: “I have wonderful students and colleagues,” Ms. Levine shared. “I also appreciate the school’s connection to the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph and their focus on social justice and the environment.”
 
What is your favorite tradition at the Academy?: Ms. Levine shared the following, “I love the Walk of the Roses. It’s so sweet to see graduates being celebrated by their friends and family.”
