Visual Arts Teacher Ms. Terise Janca '93 has been bringing creativity to life in the classroom for years, and this school year was no exception. The longtime visual arts teacher recently expanded opportunities for students through hands-on stained glass, mosaic and Raku art experiences, encouraging students to explore new artistic mediums in and outside of the classroom.

Gabriella Kreuz ’10, has had a busy 2026! The media personality and founder of the nonprofit organization Love Doesn’t Shove served as the emcee for the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage’s 18th Annual Stop the Hate Award Ceremony, where Madeline Roisman ‘26 was  recognized as an Honorable Mention recipient and one of 10 finalists for the 11/12th grade prize. 

Saint Joseph Academy welcomed back Dr. Jenea Adams ’15, a 2023 25 Under 35 honoree, on March 9 as a guest speaker for students in the Health Sciences Honors Program.

The Third Annual Coffee with Coaches brought together members of the SJA Athletics community for a morning of connection and shared love for Jaguar sports! Events like this continue to strengthen the bond between past and present athletes while highlighting the many alumnae who give back through their coaching and mentorship.

In January, students in CORE Ministry Member & Department Chair Ms. Alison Barberic '01 and CORE Ministry Member Mrs. Kristen Busa's Theology 9 classes visited the CSJ Archives. Students were able to interact with CSJ history through primary sources documents and photos. Students greatly enjoyed seeing old photos of earlier classes. 

We started the new year on a great note! Thank you to all of the alumnae and families who joined us for Alumnae Day with SJA basketball. It was wonderful to welcome so many familiar faces back to campus to cheer on the Jaguars and spend time together.
