Students Immersive Themselves in Art and French Culture

During spring break, 24 students and four chaperones traveled to France for the international experience of a lifetime! The trip was an immersive experience to explore art, architecture and design throughout the country.
Students began their adventure in Paris exploring Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, riding the Metro, the Palace of Versailles, the Eiffel Tower and more. After three days in Paris, the group traveled to Lyon for two days and then on to Arles and Nice.

Madeline Pierce ’26 shared the following about the experience: “Traveling internationally has taught me to see the world with my eyes open a little wider. My favorite part of the trip was walking around Lyon in the largest pedestrian area in Europe and down the streets shopping and getting food with my friends for many hours in the nice weather.”

Thank you to the chaperones, Mrs. Tammy Sparks, Mrs. Beth Pleban, Mrs. Megan Wackerly and Mr. Illie Morar, for giving these students the opportunity to explore France!

The Academy’s international travel opportunities, like the France experience, are designed to help students broaden their perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of being part of a global society.
