Model UN Attends 10th Annual Cleveland International Model UN Conference
In February, members of the Academy’s Model UN club participated in the 10th annual Cleveland International Model UN (CLEIMUN) conference.
Thirty-three students from the Academy collaborated to try to solve global issues such as the weaponization of viruses for use in biowarfare, militarization of outer space and the protection of children in the Israel-Palestine conflict. Claire Noelker ’26 and Marin Petti ’27 worked as committee chairs during the conference. Elizabeth Kratt ’27, Vera Swartz ’27, and Olivia Osborne ’27 worked hard to put together the daily CLEIMUN publication, The Plain Delegate, highlighting the daily events of the conference.
Congratulations to Marin Petti ’27, who was selected to be Deputy Secretary General for next year’s conference. Also, congratulations to Elizabeth Kratt ’27, who has been chosen to be the editor and chief of The Plain Delegate for next year’s conference.
