Students Attend WNBA Press Conference Launching Cleveland’s Team
On Tuesday, members of the Varsity Basketball team attended the WNBA’s press conference at Rocket Arena.
Students attending this announcement of Cleveland’s new team included Cameron Croce '26, Elizabeth Gus '26, Nia French '27, Brooke Haddad '26, Ailish Ruane '28 and Sophie Stehlik '26.
Students had the opportunity to interact with several Cleveland Cavaliers staff who are Saint Joseph Academy alumnae, as well as hear from the WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert, WNBA President of Business Operations Allison Howard and Vice President of Basketball and Business Operations Grant Gilbert.
