Students Learn Carpentry Skills for a Good Cause

For the second year in a row, students built a doghouse as a raffle item for the BayArts fundraiser, Bark in the Park.
Juniors Ella Antonetti, Macy Schilens, Stella Garland, Jesslyn Kostecke, Jezebel Kostecke and Ella Schneider worked with Engineering Teacher Mr. Bryce Ormiston and Cleveland Build staff on this project. Students learned how to read blueprints, measure, operate different saws and cut angles.

Thanks to their hard work, Halo has a new doghouse!

Also, special thank you to Student Support Services Member Mrs. Courtney Koz for helping make this learning experience possible!
