Senior Receives Girl Scouts Gold Award

Katherine Hren '26 received the highest honor in Girl Scouts, the Gold Award, for her creation of a worm composting bin for the Academy.
"It is the highest achievement in the program, so it means a great deal to me,” Katherine shared about receiving her Gold Award. “As someone who started at the youngest eligible age, there's definitely pride in completing all the major awards and basically 'completing' Girl Scouts!”

Katherine has been a Girl Scout for 13 years and has achieved her Bronze and Silver Awards as well.

Congratulations, Katherine, on this accomplishment!
