Jags finish third in tri-match
On September 15, the Saint Joseph Academy Jaguars competed in a tri-match against Independence and Cuyahoga Heights. The varsity Jaguars came in third place with a score of 205. Cuyahoga Heights finished second with a 194 while Independence took first shooting a 178.
It was a beautiful day for golf at Seneca Golf Course in Broadview Heights. The Jaguars varsity team consisted of senior Alicia Abele, senior Hannah Hill, junior Kristin Hetrick, junior Isabelle Robertson, senior Clare Tirpak and junior Emily Welshans.
Leading the team with a 49 was Abele who played a solid match as the number player on the varsity team.
The varsity team had a strong overall match and the team will continue to prepare for the sectional tournament coming up soon at Legacy Golf Course.
