Honoring Alumnae Healthcare Professionals

We are also proud to honor our alumnae who are working tirelessly in healthcare and other areas on the front lines during the midst of this pandemic.
In the last issue, we had asked alumnae to recognize fellow alumnae who are making a difference. Below is a list of alumnae whose names were shared. We thank them, and the hundreds of other alumnae working on the front lines, for their heroic efforts.

Chris Laszcz-Davis N'68, MS, CIH, COH, FAIHA, AIC Fellow and President of The Environmental Quality Organization, LLC was asked to submit a 'COVID-related think piece' to the United Nation’s International Labour Organization (ILO). " April 28, I was on a 6 a.m. Zoom conference call hosted out of Geneva, Switzerland, which hosted 5,000 attendees from around the world. I was one of six presenters, all 'think piece' contributors," stated Chris.

"25 Under 35" honoree Emma Cleary '09, APRN (pictured above) Family Nurse Practitioner, Mayo Clinic, has been volunteering at homeless camps in Sacramento, CA to educate individuals on COVID-19 prevention, conduct screenings, provide care and supplies. "This disease will affect the least among us. We cannot forget our most vulnerable populations: the homeless, the poor, the undocumented, the jailed," shared Emma with the American Nurses Association in honor of May's Nurses Month.
