Alumna Receives Fulbright Scholarship

Natalie Bauman '18, a graduate of The Catholic University of America, was recently awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for studies in healthcare disparities.
This competitive award recognizes academic achievement, service and leadership qualities. Natalie has been doing field work related to refugee resettlement, emergency food distribution and community health. She will be attending the University of Haifa in Israel to pursue her graduate studies.

"The values of SJA’s mission, along with the strong efforts of the faculty and staff community to uplift students to their fullest potential, formed me both personally and academically. Those formative years at SJA truly taught us as young women to never underestimate ourselves and from that, so many opportunities became a reality in ways that had previously been unimaginable. This is something I will always be grateful for, and again it makes me so happy to see this mission continuing," Natalie shared.
