Willa Kenny '26

Accomplishments: Willa auditioned for and was selected to play the clarinet for the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony (CYWS).
“Being accepted into Group I of CYWS was really exciting, it made me realize how much I’ve grown on my instrument and how much potential I have,” Willa shared.
 
Willa began playing the clarinet about four years ago. “Some of my favorite parts of playing my instrument are all the cool opportunities I’ve had because of it and the friends I’ve made through it,” Willa shared. “It’s also an awesome instrument, and I love playing it.”
 
She will play in four CYWS concerts, including two at Severance Hall.

Activities and Interests: At Saint Joseph Academy, Willa is an Academy Ambassador and a member of Concert Band, Jazz Band, Model UN, Stage Crew and Winter Guard. Willa also participates in St. Edward High School’s Marching and Symphonic Band.
 
Favorite part about being a member of the Saint Joseph Academy community: Willa shared, “All the people I’ve met, and the cool classes I’m able to take make the SJA community feel really special.”
