Guest Speakers Offer Insight into Foreign Service Careers
On Thursday, February 1, U.S. Ambassador to Turkey W. Robert Pearson and former Senior Foreign Service Officer Margaret Pearson visited with Dr. Jonathan Setliff’s AP® Comparative Government and Politics students and members of the Global Scholars Program to share their experiences in Foreign Service.
Combined, Ambassador Pearson and Mrs. Pearson have 56 years of service to the United States. During their visit, Ambassador Pearson and Mrs. Pearson shared why they entered Foreign Service, described their work overseas and in Washington, D.C., and how to learn more about Foreign Service.
