  • “Arts Without Limits” Program at Kent State University Helps Students Explore Art Careers

    On Wednesday, October 8, students attended Kent State University’s “Arts Without Limits,” a day-long program focusing on arts entrepreneurship. Students participated in presentations and workshops around Fashion, Art, Theatre, Dance, Music, Visual Communications Design and Marketing/Branding. The purpose of the presentations was to help students understand possible careers and which majors would be best for various career paths.

  • Ireland’s First Astronaut Speaks to the Irish Club

    Last Thursday, members of the Irish Club met Dr. Norah Patten. Dr. Patten will be Ireland’s first astronaut when she flies into space, as early as next year. During the discussion, Dr. Patten shared her research and the preparations she is making to fly into space. After her presentation, students asked questions about her research and how she became interested in space.
