Serving with Purpose, Leading with Faith

At the heart of our mission is a deep commitment to service rooted in faith. Through a variety of campus ministry initiatives, students are invited to put their values into action—whether through community outreach, spiritual leadership, or personal acts of compassion. These experiences not only deepen their understanding of faith but also nurture a sense of responsibility, empathy, and purpose that extends beyond the classroom. By serving others, students learn to lead with integrity and grow into thoughtful, faith-filled leaders ready to make a difference in the world.

  • Service Requirements

Freshmen and sophomores are required to complete 10 hours of direct service with organizations that serve marginalized members of the greater Cleveland community. Direct service occurs when students are directly interacting with marginalized members of the community such as the elderly, young children, refugees, or the unhoused. Junior and senior students are strongly encouraged, but not required, to continue serving with the organizations she encountered during her freshman and sophomore years.
